Was a fantastic turn out for the Annual Xmas break up and Keith Smith Whiting Challenge weigh-in. The weather couldn't have been better as members enjoyed the amazing seafood BBQ. A huge thanks to Gavin Kirchner for the great job cooking all the yummy food, and to the club President Murray Wannan for all his great fishing, providing the delicious seafood. Members enjoyed everything from prawns, whiting, gummy, sausages and beef patties. The kids had a ball finding clues in the kids treasure hunt. It was great to see members enjoying catching up having a few drinks. Well done to the Committee for all their hard work in the lead up to the day. William Comber won the Keith Smith Whiting Challenge with a monster 880g whiting. The biggest in the five years the competition has been running. William was presented with a Shimano Rod & Reel set and his name will be engraved onto the Keith Smith Whiting Challenge shield. You have set a high standard for future years to beat William. Well Done!!! Merry Christmas to all members, family, friends & sponsors. May you all have a safe Christmas and New Year. We hope to see you all out on the water. May the winds be kind...
