Around the Bay...
30th March - Club President Murray caught a nice bag of 17 Whiting with the best going 45cm south of Elizabeth Island in 11m of water using a variety of baits with with best being a mussel and squid cocktail. Murray experimented using small slices of yakka and caught Whiting which just goes to show it pays to try new things as you never know what will work and what will fizz.
21 March - The need for a clubhouse has never been more evident than at the Whiting Competition presentation BBQ, with wind and rain threatening. There was a great turn out by members. Club President took out the honours weighing in three whiting totalling 1.4kilos, taking out the Tonic Prize Pack.
A big thank you to our Club Partners Inverloch Marine, Tonic Eyewear and Alex Scott Real Estate
